Ive never heard of canceling a race due to cloudy weather before in my many years of going to the track....I just drove for an hour towing a race car and for what??? We cant be canceling races like this....The weather would have held up tonight. There was a 20% chance of rain the rest of the night. The roads were all dry and the sun was coming out on my way home. Very poor judgment. Next time please post something a little sooner.

Yes, I wish something would have been posted sooner. I live in Barrington about 4 miles from the track and it was great Racing weather all night.. Sure disappointed me when I turned into the track to find out it had been cancelled !!I didn;t even think about calling the track as I was very sure that an attempt would be made to have the races.. Strange that the track didn't even try to get in a race.. Just my two cents.. ;D

I agree...Ive seen them try alot harder to get races in. Ive seen it rain then they would dry the track only for it to rain again and they still didnt give up right away....the sun was out most of the night last night

Well, We got some racing in tonight I have to say that I had a good night overall !! The "Hulkmobile" made it to victory lane Didn't think that my chances were to good as I took a detour though the infield with a little help and still ended up finishing up third.. My car sure isn't one of the fastest out there but luck was on my side in the feature event. Hulk Harton

It's not always the fastest car that wins the race, but you were pretty darn quick Hulkster
